methods of payment USD via paypal, cashapp, venmo or kofi. game currency or item payment available when advertised.
payment is expected in full when a watermarked sketch is finalized and approved. money will sit in the service of your choosing and not be withdrawn until the piece is completed to your satisfaction.
refunds available if i will not be able to complete your commission due to external circumstances. no payment is expected if i fail to produce a sketch to your liking, but the sketches offered are not yours to keep. refunds are not available once i have begun the process of lining, coloring and rendering.

process.

turnaround time varies from piece-to-piece and depends upon my schedule and availability. the average wait for most pieces is 3-7 days. reference sheets average 7-14 days. i promise transparency on any delays.
a sketch will be sent for your approval. once this pose or expression is finalized, payment is expected via any of the listed platforms.
once payment is received, i will move on to the lineart stage and send another watermarked image for your approval.
when coloring is complete, you will have one last chance to make any changes to the color layers. once finalized, i will send your piece(s) via discord and an imgur gallery link.

alterations.

sketch phase edits are allowed with any degree of severity, including complete pose alterations, up to three times. include every small request in a single message; do not make me change one thing, send the new version, then ask for another edit right after.
lineart phase edits are allowed with minor severity only once; be sure to place all of your requested changes in a single message.
color phase edits are allowed with minor severity only once. these are for instances of incorrectly-colored markings, eyes, et cetera.
custom designs are handled in a completely different way; there will be constant check-ins and there are no limits to requested edits.

permissions.

the buyer may reupload my work to any site with proper credit, either to my bluesky account, my toyhou.se, or my discord profile.
the buyer may redesign any custom characters to their discretion if original credit is maintained on the old reference sheet.
the buyer may contact me with the phrase nightingale to prove they have read my TOS.
the buyer may not claim to be the artist of any piece or the designer of any customs.
the buyer may not use my works for profit in any way, including but not limited to advertising for commissions with my pieces, creating merchandise to be sold to the public, or tracing my works to resell.

icons.

references are a new addition to my roster, so i have very few examples that may not quite line up with the package deals you see below. the way i create ref sheets is subject to change at any time. please be patient; i'll work closely with you to ensure you're happy with whatever i can provide.

mix & match.

listed below are default packages based on combinations of features i think go well together for a fair price. you may request that features or views be added to the $10 base price (front / side, palette, info) for additional fees, as detailed in the table just below.

default inclusions.

all sheets include a front or side view (depending on whether your character is feral or anthro by default), a color palette stylized to my discretion, and your character's name, species, pronouns, and any other relevant design notes that you or i wish to include for other artists down the line.

custom designs.

i will create a character from the ground up for an additional fee of 50%. as these require constant communication, please be willing to work with me. moodboards, playlists, quotes, etc. are all accepted and encouraged as inspiration for designs.

$10 reference package.

further details ; the most basic reference package. one view of your character, a color palette, and space for name, species, and pronouns (or other relevant information).

$15 reference package.

further details ; a good all-rounder. two views of your character to showcase all marks, a closeup of either the maw or paw, a color palette, and space for name, species and pronouns (or other relevant information)

$20 reference package.
